Calm Before the Storm, Micki LeMieux

From the art center website: "oversized protean organisms [with] elastic sky-blue bodies." I find these sort of captivating. They remind me of anime forms - something from a Hayao Miyazaki movie maybe. They're right down the street from me, by the beach I like to walk to. They remind me of hands, or aliens, or anenome... or something.
