Saturday night, some of our kids and their friends helped us decorate the sanctuary for Pentecost! It was awesome. Unfortunately, a lot of the balloons didn't stay quite so perky overnight... But we still had a wonderful service today -- and let go all the balloons so they lifted up to the ceiling.
I love Pentecost. Almost everyone wore red, we had red tablecloths, red bulletin covers, a red potluck, complete with Jello, Twizzlers, Red Velvet cake and cupcakes, taco dip, strawberries, red candies, watermelon... next year, one of our guys suggested Bloody Marys? How Episcopalian.
